Pumpkin Pie Workshop – Make & Take
Baking Class for Ages 9-14 w/Adult
Tuesday, November 24th | 6:00-8:00pm
Ages 9-14 with One Adult
Get ready for Thanksgiving by learning how to make a classic pumpkin pie from scratch with Chef Pax! In this hands-on class, students and their accompanying adult will explore the differences between mealy, short, and flaky pie doughs and discover why each is used in baking.
Participants will create a classic flaky, buttery pie crust, prepare a traditional pumpkin pie filling, and make decorative elements for their pie. The unbaked pie shell, decorations, and filling will go home with you to assemble and bake in time for your Thanksgiving celebration.
Disposable pie pans will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring a pie pan from home if they prefer. Recipes, baking instructions, and helpful tips will also be sent home so you can recreate this holiday favorite with confidence.
