Drawing on her passion for fresh ingredients and flavorful homemade cooking, Chef Mao will guide you through making fresh spaghetti, rolling and shaping tender meatballs (with a vegetarian option available upon request), and preparing a rich roasted tomato-basil sauce bursting with flavor. You’ll also make a crisp Caesar salad to complete the meal.

“Chopped” Style Team Cooking Challenge: Italian Harvest
Cooking Fun for Ages 16+

Team up, Think fast, Show off your skills, and win prizes! Ready to test your kitchen creativity? Step into our high energy, hands on Chopped style cooking competition—designed for cooks who love a challenge! You and your cooking partner will face off against other students in two rounds: Entree and Dessert. Each starts with a mystery basket packed with must-use classic Italian ingredients (let us know about any dietary needs), plus access to a shared pantry of produce, dairy, and dry goods. You’ll have to think on your feet, work as a team, and craft something delicious before time runs out. Winning team members each receive a $25 Baker Hunt gift certificate! Perfect for intermediate to advanced cooks who want a fun, competitive, and creative kitchen experience.

Young chefs ages 10–13 will roll up their sleeves for a fun, hands-on cooking class packed with comfort-food favorites! Students will learn how to prepare crispy Chicken Tenders, mix up a zesty Comeback Sauce for dipping, and make perfectly seasoned Steak Fries to round out the meal. To finish on a sweet note, kids will bake delicious Brownie Bites—the perfect little treat to enjoy and share. Perfect for ages 10–13, this class is a tasty way for young cooks to learn new skills, try classic recipes, and have plenty of fun in the kitchen!

Get ready to skewer, stack, and snack! Chef Jeri will guide young chefs as they make Italian Sausage Skewers with peppers, onions, and mozzarella, plus a scratch marinara sauce for dipping. Then they’ll create colorful Rainbow Fruit Skewers and a sweet honey dipping sauce. This hands-on class teaches kitchen basics, food prep skills, and creative presentation while serving up plenty of fun. From savory to sweet, everything tastes better on a stick!

Join Chef Jeri for a fun morning making homemade pop-tarts! You’ll team up and make the crust from scratch, then make your own filling choices and assemble the poptarts, bake ’em, then frost and eat them! This class is for ages 7-12 with an adult.
