Art For All

________

Arts and humanities education are so important for creating well-rounded citizens in our community. Art offers more than just a creative outlet. Art pushes an individual to think creatively and consider different perspectives, to develop the fine motor skills important to expanded cognitive ability. It pushes us to examine ourselves, and our world. Baker Hunt wants the whole community to have access to this transformative aspect of humanity – but for some, barriers exist. “Art for All” seeks to remove as many barriers as possible for the whole community.

________

Youth Pricing

Art classes encourage creativity, teach healthy self-expression, provide an opportunity for stress reduction, increase social skills, help develop fine motor skills – and are FUN! Baker Hunt offers a sliding scale pricing structure for all youth workshops and multi-week classes, giving all kids the opportunity to experience the arts!

How youth pricing works

Pick a Class

  • Explore our youth classes and find the right class for your kiddo(s)!

Pick your price

  • When you click “register”, you will be presented with pricing options. All three prices give your child access to the same class, the same materials, the same experience.

Which price fits my family?

  • The “Art for All” price is for families earning less than 200% of the federal poverty level (e.g. $60,000/year or less for a family of 4).
  • The “Share the Love” price is for families earning more than 500% of the federal poverty level (e.g. $150,000/year or more for a family of 4). This price helps provide additional “art for all” openings.
  • Between these income levels, or if in doubt, the “suggested registration” price is appropriate.

Other important details

  • We will NEVER require proof of family income. We trust you to do what’s right for your family, and for the rest of the community’s youth.
  • Scholarships are available, but we ask that if using scholarship funds for youth classes, please pick the “suggested registration” price.
  • If you need help signing up for classes, please email or call us!
  • Your registration type will be known only to management, ensuring confidentiality and preserving dignity.
  • All of our cancellation/refund policies still apply, regardless of ticket price.
