Rosh Hashanah – Soul of a New Year
Join Chef Mona for a cooking class celebrating the foods of Rosh Hashanah with her own special flair! The intersection of food has long been a reminder of how humans are more alike than different. Rosh Hashanah or Jewish New Year seems a particularly good time to recommit and rediscover the beauty of cultural touchstones over cultural divisions. And as a person with roots in southern cuisine and foodways I am including my own cultural spin. This class is intergenerational, for students ages 9-15 with an adult.
