General Class Description

The “Art Log” is an incredible one-day workshop! Transform an old, forgotten book into a personal, breathing piece of art. Come join our instructor, Jason Trautz for an upcycling art journal project that will prove to be creative, therapeutic and satisfying.

What Will Students Learn?

Students will have a brief introduction into the skills of Decoupage or découpage: the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it in combination with painting/drawing effects and other decorative elements.

What Will Students Leave With?

Students will leave with a creative recycled art journal. This project will give them the skill set to move forward with decorating the book and making it a unique one-of-a-kind art piece.
