Kid-Friendly Knife Skills
Ages 9-12 w/Adult

Chef Mary knows how to give kids confidence in the kitchen with real tools, real food, and expert guidance. In this engaging hands‑on class, young cooks and their adults learn how to use knives safely and correctly, turning curiosity into skill and fear into control. Working with common fruits & vegetables, you’ll both learn proper technique and basic cuts while making a bright, colorful fruit salad, and a build‑your‑own noodle bowl . To finish, we’ll learn to cut chicken wings into drums & flats, then enjoy sticky‑sweet baked teriyaki chicken wings, because learning should taste amazing too.

This class builds skills kids and adults can use for a lifetime—and confidence they’ll bring to every meal they make.

You’ll prepare Coconut‑Crusted Mahi‑Mahi, crispy outside and tender inside, paired with a vibrant Black Bean and Corn Salad and a bright, juicy Pineapple‑Mango Salsa that brings sweet heat to every bite.
Perfect for couples, friends, or anyone craving a little vacation energy, this menu is approachable, playful, and designed for easy summer cooking—with big flavor and zero stress. Alcohol will be available for purchase during class.

Chef Lilly will break down how rubs and marinades work, then guide you through cooking chicken, pork, and seasonal vegetables using each one. You’ll sit down to enjoy a flavorful meal served over rice.

You’ll learn the technique for achieving a crunchy, savory crust on sushi-grade Ahi using a clever “secret binder” before pairing it with a velvety Coconut Jasmine Rice infused with fresh cilantro. To balance the plate, we’ll toss a crisp Savory Cucumber Salad and whisk together a signature Soy-Honey Dipping Sauce that hits every salty and sweet note. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your knife skills or master high-heat cooking, you’ll leave with the confidence to recreate this sophisticated, tropical bistro meal in your own kitchen. Join Chef Lilly for a Night of Big Flavors!
Chef Lilly is taking over the kitchen to show you how to make the country’s most famous comfort foods. You’ll chop up the garlicky “liquid gold” Chimichurri Sauce, then master the cast iron skillet to achieve a Perfectly Crusted Steak to pour it over. Paired with Crispy Oven Roasted Potatoes with Basil-Olive-Butter, it’s a flavor explosion you won’t want to miss. Finish off the night with a batch of Alfajores Cookies—buttery, crumbly perfection, filled with decadent Dulce de Leche and dusted in powdered sugar. Join Chef/Owner Tina Barger of The Shroomery at SA Farm to begin a foray into cooking with Gourmet Mushrooms. Explore the flavor and versatility of locally grown mushrooms in this hands‑on class featuring varieties cultivated by Tina Barger. Using her sustainably grown mushrooms, students will prepare a creamy wild mushroom, spinach, and artichoke pasta and Lion’s Mane “crab” cakes, learning practical techniques for handling and cooking fresh mushrooms that translate easily to the home kitchen.

Chef Lilly will teach you how to make a polished yet relaxed dinner that fits comfortably into a busy home kitchen. This class features chicken piccata (with a vegetarian option available), quickly pan seared and finished with a simple lemon butter caper sauce that tastes extraordinary without being fussy. It’s served with tender egg noodles that soak up every bit of that bright, savory sauce. Shredded kale salad adds freshness and crunch, dressed simply with lemon, olive oil, and a few flavorful extras. The meal wraps up with an easy summer berry tart made with puff pastry and fresh fruit — proof that dessert can feel homemade and elegant without much effort.

Cooking Class for Ages 21+

Looking for a Mother’s Day experience that’s more special than sending flowers? Spend quality time cooking side‑by‑side in this hands‑on class designed for mothers and their adult children. Together, you’ll prepare Salmon over Creamy Orzo Pilaf with Roasted Seasonal Vegetables and Trifle Parfait with Fresh Raspberries and Bourbon-Chocolate Sauce, a beautiful, restaurant worthy meal. Share laughs, learn new skills, and make memories you’ll treasure! Chef Andrew Vogel will lead this class in his signature fun yet educational style while you give Mom what she really wants this year: time with you! Class is 21+ and comes with 2 alcoholic (or NA) beverages from our beer & wine list. Sign up is in pairs, one ticket per pair.

Family Knife Skills – Keep the Knife!
Ages 7-10 w/Adult
Thursday, April 16th, 2026 | 5:30-7:30pm

Learning knife skills at a young age fosters independence, empowers the cook and enhances safety by replacing fear with proper, controlled techniques. Mastering these techniques, as an adult or a young person, leads to more efficient cooking and better eating.
With basic knife skills we’ll learn about the knife, knife cuts and cooking application. We’ll enjoy a roasted vegetable bowl with our knife cuts. Mary will demo a classic French vinaigrette
