Spaghetti from Scratch!
Cooking Class for Ages 9-12 with Adult
Tuesday, November 4th | 5:30-7:30pm

Join Chef Alex for a fun class all about spaghetti! Prepare scratch pasta dough, then work with our pasta machines to create your own spaghetti! We’ll prepare sauce and a side salad too!  Class is for kids ages 9-12 who must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

Menu:

Southern Dessert Classics: Sweet Potato Pie & Banana Pudding

Join Chef Mona for a deep dive into these southern dessert classics!  Youth/Adult pairs will work together with chef Mona to prepare classic Sweet Potato Pie with scratch crust and Meringue, and Homemade Banana Pudding!  This class is for youth ages 7-15 paired with an adult.

Welcome to Grandma’s Kitchen and the wonderful scent of warm after-school snack cakes! Chef Jo has fond memories of after-school baking and the delicious results. Join her to learn simple one-bowl cake making techniques, and bake THREE of her favorite fruit-filled snack cake recipes!  Class is for youth ages 11-15. Students will work in pairs.

Homeschool Cooks!
4 Cooking Classes for Ages 11-15
Tuesdays Starting October 14 | 9:30-11:30am

Join Chef JoEllen for a 4-week class on cooking!  This class is designed for homeschoolers, and students will work through 4 weeks of menus, learning cooking and kitchen skills along the way.   Class is for youth ages 11-15. Class meets October 14, 21, 28, Nov 4.

Rosh Hashanah Cooking

Rosh Hashanah – Soul of a New Year

Join Chef Mona for a cooking class celebrating the foods of Rosh Hashanah with her own special flair! The intersection of food has long been a reminder of how humans are more alike than different. Rosh Hashanah or Jewish New  Year  seems a particularly good time to recommit and rediscover the beauty of  cultural touchstones over cultural divisions. And as a person with roots in southern cuisine and foodways I am including my own cultural spin.  This class is intergenerational, for students ages 9-15 with an adult.
