Open studio drawing workshop! If you are interested in focusing on cultural clothing pattern & drawing black hair styles, a short presentation will be given as well.

Chef Leigh turns up the heat to create bold, fresh chicken (or vegetarian) fajitas using the power of cast iron, peak‑season vegetables, and a flavor‑packed homemade seasoning.
In this fun, interactive class, we’ll cook together while building confidence with cast iron cooking techniques and knife skills—all while layering vibrant summer flavors into a meal that’s healthy, satisfying, and endlessly adaptable. You’ll whip up enough to take some home for another meal!

Perfect Piccata
Cooking Class for Ages 16+
Tuesday, June 16th | 5:30-7:30pm

Chef Lilly will teach you how to make a polished yet relaxed dinner that fits comfortably into a busy home kitchen. This class features chicken piccata (with a vegetarian option available), quickly pan seared and finished with a simple lemon butter caper sauce that tastes extraordinary without being fussy. It’s served with tender egg noodles that soak up every bit of that bright, savory sauce. Shredded kale salad adds freshness and crunch, dressed simply with lemon, olive oil, and a few flavorful extras. The meal wraps up with an easy summer berry tart made with puff pastry and fresh fruit — proof that dessert can feel homemade and elegant without much effort.

Adult Sewing: Two Piece Garment
Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m.
June 3 – July 29
Ages 16+

***No Classes The Week Of June 29th – July 5th***

Class:

This is a sewing class designed for individuals who already have a basic understanding on how to operate a sewing machine. No prior garment experience is required. This class will teach students how to measure their body, select a pattern size according to the desired fit, and cut and sew a two piece matching set. The pants can be either long or short length. The top is button up and short sleeved.

*** The Instructor encourages students that if they own their own sewing machine, they may bring it to class to work on their project on a machine they are more familiar with. Baker Hunt still provides sewing machines for students who don’t own a machine and/or students who prefer not to transport their personal machine from home.***

What You’ll Learn:

Students will learn:
-Accurate body measurement
-Selecting a size to sew taking ease and desired fit into consideration
-Measure and cut fabric to the grainline
-How to sew different garment elements, including but not limited to: collars, front facings, casing for waistband, inseam pockets, patch pockets, hems, hem facings, lined yoke
-How to troubleshoot common problems in garment sewing
-Tips on how to sew different elements in a more streamlined way

What You’ll Leave With:

Students will leave with a completed two piece matching set of the featured garment.(See photo) Students will receive the pattern instructions as well as the instructor’s written clarifications, modifications, and notes for maximum understanding.

In this Adult workshop, you discover the basic steps and the tools used in the Stained Glass making process. In a step-by-step instruction, small group learning environment, each person in the class will create your very own individualized stained glass UMBRELLA.

What You’ll Learn:

You will learn how to properly use the basic tools of a stained glass artist, and you will learn the FOUR basic steps of the stained glass making process: Glass Cutting, Glass Grinding, Foiling, and Soldering. 

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end of the two hour workshop, you will have learned and experienced first-hand all the steps of how to make a piece of stained glass art, and you will leave with a completed Stained Glass Umbrella pattern.

Skip the rise time and get straight to the good stuff with Chef Lilly Burdsall in our hands-on Quick Breads workshop for adults! From fluffy waffles and buttery biscuits to golden cornbread (chef demo), tender scones, and a flavorful Mediterranean loaf studded with feta cheese, sundried tomatoes, and olives, you’ll make three crowd-pleasers in one session while discovering what sets quick breads apart from their yeast-raised cousins.
