Creative Writing Event | “Why We Write; Cultivating a Writers Mind” | April 2nd, 2026 | 6:30pm
This free, community workshop will help you gain a better understanding of why we write, learn to open our “writer’s mind” to the inspiration around us, and engage in prompt writing. Guests can expect to discuss a reading, have writing opportunities with prompts, and participate in optional group sharing.
Michael Georgilis (he/him) is a local Cincinnati writer and community volunteer. In addition to earning his degree in English and Creative Writing from Centre College, he is the co-editor of the upcoming community anthology We Hold These Truths to Be Self-Evident, and an active board member at the Women Writing for (a) Change organization.
We encourage participants of this workshop to join us for the Open-mic night, scheduled for April 23rd. Learn more HERE.
