Thursday, 6:00 p.m.
October 15 – November 12
Ages 16+
*** No Class on October 22nd!!!***
Class:
In this 4-week class, students will learn how to hem their own pre-existing garments, repair holes, rips, seam tears, etc. This class is best suited for a student who has knowledge on sewing machine operation. Samples of different materials and different hemming techniques will be demonstrated in class for students to practice on. Students are highly encouraged to bring their own clothes from home that they desire to hem or to do basic mending. Please note, this class will not heavily alter the fit of garments by taking in waists or add fabric to increase garment size. Sample fabrics and materials will be provided for students to learn different hem techniques.
**If you have your own sewing machine, please bring it to class! If you do not, one will be provided for you to use!**
**This is a beginner level class**
