Join Chef/Owner Tina Barger of The Shroomery at SA Farm to begin a foray into cooking with Gourmet Mushrooms. Explore the flavor and versatility of locally grown mushrooms in this hands‑on class featuring varieties cultivated by Tina Barger. Using her sustainably grown mushrooms, students will prepare a creamy wild mushroom, spinach, and artichoke pasta and Lion’s Mane “crab” cakes, learning practical techniques for handling and cooking fresh mushrooms that translate easily to the home kitchen.

Fresh Pasta Like a Pro: Fettucini Alfredo
Cooking Class for Ages 21+
Monday, June 1st | 5:30-7:30pm

Learn the art of fresh pasta from scratch in this hands-on culinary experience. Students will mix, knead, and roll pasta dough by hand before transforming it into a beautiful finished
favorite, Fettucini Alfredo. Enjoy your handiwork with a crisp salad and easy homemade garlic bread. Wine or beer available for $6 each, 2-drink maximum per person. This class blends technique, texture, and presentation for a restaurant-quality result at home. This meal is vegetarian and perfect for those Meatless Mondays!

Enjoy a quick plant-based meal with crunchy kale salad, pasta with white beans and Italian herbs, and a simple yet decadent dessert of orange cake with shaved chocolate – each with only six ingredients or fewer! This class proves that simple food can still be exciting, comforting, and crave-worthy—ideal for weeknights or effortless entertaining.

Create and Cook With Your Own Spice Blends
Cooking Class for Ages 16+
Wednesday, May 27th | 5:30-7:30pm

Discover the art of flavor in our hands-on Create Your Own Spice Blend class! Use your personalized signature spice blends to craft your dinner and a take-home snack! Guided by Chef Catrina Mills, you’ll start with a lesson on whole spices from around the world, then toast, grind, and craft two custom blends to take home. Explore the rich history and origins of essential herbs and spices from across the globe. While you’re here, use one blend to season and sear a chicken breast (or tofu) and serve atop simply prepared pasta, then use the other to make your own gourmet popcorn! Whether you’re a kitchen newbie or a seasoned home cook, leave with new skills, bold flavors, and a deeper connection to your food.

Menu:

  • Two custom spice blends you create!
  • Seared Chicken Breast (or tofu upon request) with your first custom spice blend, served over simply prepared pasta.

Ravioli Date Night!
Cooking Class for Ages 21+
Monday, May 18th | 5:30-7:30pm

Enjoy this Romantic Date night with Chef Catrina where you will make your own fresh pasta, then create raviolis with a creamy cheese filling, and flavorful tomato sauce. Round out the meal with a balsamic vinaigrette salad and sweet tiramisu for two! This class is for ages 21+, one registration is for two people. Beer, Wine, and N/A Beer & Wine available for $6 per beverage; 2 drink per person maximum.

Cooking Around the World
5-Days | June 22 – June 26
9:00am-12:30pm | Ages 9 to 12

CAMP Theme:

Take a culinary trip around the world without leaving town! In this week-long camp, you’ll work with Chef to prepare lots of different dishes from around the world, discussing culture and history along the way!

What You’ll Discover:

In this camp you’ll discover the fun and delicious world of FOOD! Take a “trip” to Japan, Latin America, Europe, India, and more without leaving town!

What You’ll Create:

Work with the chef to create delicious dishes like Chinese Fried Rice, Paad Thai from Thailand, Pasta from Italy, and so much more! Eat all you’d like in class, and take the leftovers home with you!

Before-Care Available:

Before-Care provides additional time before camp for early drop-offs. Before-Care starts at 8am. To enroll, add the Before-Care “ticket” to your registration. After-care is not available for this camp | students must be picked up at 12:30pm
