12:00pm – 2:00pm | Ages 9 – 14

Class Description:

Join us as we dive into the world of backyard birds as we create holiday birdseed ornaments, sure to attract the attention of a variety of colorful, native birds to your backyard!

What You’ll Learn:

We will discuss the kinds of native and migrating birds that reside in the greater Cincinnati/NKY area, as well as the different types of seeds, fruits, and nuts that they love to eat! We will also learn how to use eco- and bird-friendly materials as binding agents for our wreaths, and how to avoid certain foods when feeding our fine, feathered friends.

What You’ll Leave With:

Each of us will leave with beautiful, outdoor birdseed ornaments just in time for the holidays! We will also have a greater appreciation for the birds in our area and leave with tips for attracting specific birds to your backyard! You will also take home a recipe card to make future bird feeder ornaments.
