Welcome two great performers: Sarah Asher and Johnathon Cox
About Sarah Asher:
Sarah Asher is a folk singer-songwriter whose haunting voice and introspective ballads have carved out a unique space in the Midwest music scene. With roots in the rolling hills of Kentucky and the heart of Ohio, her evocative lyrics explore themes of heartache, hope, and the quiet resilience found in nature. With 20 years of performing experience, she has appeared on WYSO radio, been featured on WCPO Lounge Acts, played in Fountain Square, and graced the stages of countless venues across the country.
About Johnathon Cox:
Hailing from the heart of Greenup, KY, Johnathon Cox brings a unique blend of country and bluegrass music that resonates with fans of all ages. Inspired by his roots, Johnathon’s musical journey began in the humble setting of his local church, where he watched his mother and her siblings perform heartfelt gospel tunes.
Art Show
We will be having an art show featuring the works created by our summer camp students!
Fun Activities
Participate in our community art project, where we invite the community to create on a huge canvas, which will then be displayed in our Scudder Building.
A few notes:
- The event starts at 6:00 pm with two seperate performers
- Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are encouraged as chairs/benches are limited
- Performances will run to approximately 9:00 pm with a 15-minute intermission
- A selection of beer, wine, cocktails, soda, and snacks will be available for purchase; outside alcohol is prohibited
- Seating is not assigned, lawn space is first come
- This event is outdoors
- Dogs are welcome; however must be well-behaved and on a leash
- Outside food is permitted
- Parking is located in our private parking lot accessed from 7th street. On-street parking is available however, please read the signs
