Introduction to Quilting

Class:
Discover the joy of quilting! This class will focus on the fundamentals of piecing a quilt top. Different styles of quilting will be discussed throughout the course with examples from the instructor provided. No prior sewing experience is needed, however if a student has their own machine at home, it is highly encouraged they bring it with them to class.
What You’ll Learn:
In the 8-week course you will learn tips and techniques of how to use a sewing machine, and obtain the knowledge of how to create a quilt top that you can repeat in future project endeavors.
What You’ll Leave With:
At the end of the class, students will have sampler quilt top completed 6-8 quilt blocks (total number of blocks completed dependent on speed and accuracy of cutting and sewing) that are traditional blocks and leave with a strong foundation to continue their quilting journey.
