Fabulous Frosting Camp
5-Days | July 20 – July 24
9:00am-12:30pm | Ages 9 to 12

CAMP Theme:

This camp focuses on baking basics and beginning-advanced frosting techniques. Students will also prepare a snack each day to enjoy during camp.

What You’ll Discover:

In this camp you’ll uncover hidden talents in cake and dessert decorating! Bake up cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cake-pops and more, then prepare delicious frostings, icings and other decorations to apply to your baked goods! Focus on learning basic-intermediate frosting techniques, cake building, etc. to start your journey as a decorative-frosting artist!

What You’ll Create:

Create cakes, cookies, cupcakes and more decorated with fabulous frostings, icings and more! Each day, you’ll also prepare a savory-snack to enjoy to balance out all the sweetness of this week-long camp! Campers learn to work with different piping tips and bags all week, and get to keep the tips to practice at home!

Before-Care Available:

Before-Care provides additional time before camp for early drop-offs. Before-Care starts at 8am. To enroll, add the Before-Care “ticket” to your registration. After-care is not available for half-day camps | students must be picked up at 12:30pm

Sculpture Camp
5-Days | June 8th – June 12th
9:00am-3:00pm | Ages 7 to 10

CAMP Theme:

Focus on the many media available for sculpture (clay, wire, paper mâché, cardboard), fundamentals of drawing and idea development, visualizing shape and proportion, and learning to find expression through 3-D media!

What You’ll Discover:

In this week-long camp, youth will explore different media and concepts in sculpture work while creating a number of sculptures based on different themes: friendship, structure, hope, dreams, etc.

What You’ll Create:

In this camp, you will create fun projects such as wire sculptures, paper mâché projects, air dry clay figurines, functional and non-functional ceramic project’s, and much more!

Before & After-care Available:

Before & After-care provides additional time before and after camp for early drop-offs and late pick-ups. Before-Care starts at 8am, and After-Care ends at 4pm. To enroll, add the Before & After-care “ticket” to your registration.

“Bug ‘in”-Out Camp
5-Days | June 22nd – June 26th
9:00am-3:00pm | Ages 9 to 12

CAMP Theme:

This camp focuses on the interesting world of entomology! The study of insects, focusing on their biology, behavior, and the environment in which they live in.

What You’ll Discover:

Ever wonder how a cricket chirps? Why a spider has 8 legs? How many legs does a centipedes really have? Or why do insect have so many eyes? This is the camp for you! Explore and discover the amazing lives of insects in this week long camp, where you learn about insects and their habitats, create fun bug artworks, explore the campus ground for native species of insects, and learn to become a junior bug catcher and watcher!

What You’ll Create:

In this camp, you will create fun projects such as bug scientific drawings, build your own bug terrarium, paper stained glass butterflies, moth mobiles, glow in the dark lightening bug studies, and so much more!

Craft Camp
5-Days | July 27th – July 31st
9:00am-3:00pm | Ages 10 to 14

CAMP Theme:

This camp focuses on the craft arts; leather working, soap making, candle making, basket weaving, and more!

What You’ll Discover:

Learn all about the whimsical world of craft making and discover a new hobby! In this fun filled week long class, you will discover all new craft making skills that you can continue on at the comfort of you own home! Learn some crafts that not only create artful looking object, but create a useful and function craft as well. Campers will have a week of fun learning new crafting hobbies, creating new friendships, and creating lasting memories.

What You’ll Create:

In this camp, you will create fun projects such as learning to make soap, a pottery project, candle making, basketing weaving, stained glass, and leather working.

CAMP Theme:

Learning how to work with clay to make sculpture, dishes, and other fun projects!

What You’ll Discover:

Have fun in the mud! In this week-long exploration of pottery, you will learn fun handbuilding techniques, such as pinch, slab, coil, etc., discover the fascinating physics and chemistry of pottery, and make a whole batch of pots, mugs, and sculptures to take home!

What You’ll Create:

You will create a number of fun projects such as coil pots, slab vases, planters, figurines, and so much more!

Before & After-care Available:

Fiber Art Camp
5-Days | July 13th – July 17th
9:00am-3:00pm | Ages 10 to 14

CAMP Theme:

This camp focuses on the fiber arts; hand sewing, machine sewing, crocheting, embroidery, etc.

What You’ll Discover:

Love to sew or want to lean? Like to start crocheting, but don’t know where to begin? Explore this week long exciting camp were campers dive into the exciting world of the Fiber Arts. Campers will craft exciting projects out of assortment of fiber works to create new passions for a new hobby, creates new friendships, and create lasting memories.

What You’ll Create:

In this camp, you will create fun projects while learning about how to hand sew, learn how to use a sewing machine, crocheting, macramé, felting, embroidery, weaving, and so much more!

Jungle Camp
5-Days | June 22nd – June 26th
9:00am-3:00pm | Ages 7 to 10

CAMP Theme:

This camp will focus on zoo and jungle animals, the environments they live in, and how to create whimsical artwork that references unique and favorite children animals.

What You’ll Discover:

Walk on the WILD side with this fun week long camp! You’ll have a HOWLING great time learn all about fun animal facts as you create imaginative animal artwork. You’ll swing from the branches of jungles a you learn about who lives in the tree, run through the savannahs as you learn to draw, paint, and sculpt wild animals, tweet with excitement as you make new friends this summer.

What You’ll Create:

In this camp, you will study and create fun projects such as animal masks, sculpt your favorite animal, learn fun zoology facts as you learn how to draw different animals, learn about different biomes and ecosystem as you create dioramas, study different animal symbiotic relationship, animal foot print identification, and so much more!

This camp focuses on Dinosaurs, Dinosaur facts & Art, paleontology, and all things prehistoric.

What You’ll Discover:

Venture back in time where the world was young and dinosaurs ruled over the prehistoric world! Learn all about dinosaurs in this fun filled week long class as you create amazing and fun works of art.

What You’ll Create:

In this camp, you will create fun projects such as creating your own dinosaur, art about dinosaur facts, identify dinosaur fossils, make your own dino fossil, and so much more!

Da’ Vinci Drawing Camp
5-Days | July 6th – July 10th
9:00am-3:00pm | Ages 9 to 12

CAMP Theme:

Campers will learn about the elements of art and design when creating 2-D art, and will get exposure of different drawing mediums such as pencil, pen & ink, charcoal, and markers.

What You’ll Discover:

Enhance the drawing skills of your young budding artist as they explore the elements of art and the principles of design when focus on developing their illustration skills. In this week long camp, activities will include covering a variety of drawing  materials and they will learn all about how to bring their drawing to life. Learning to use techniques such as pointillism, one & two point perspective, lightening and shading, and how to create dynamic compositions.

What You’ll Create:

In this camp, you will create fun projects such as perspective drawing, pointillism, charcoal rendering, using art markers to create value and contrast, still-life drawing, figure and posing studies, and so much more!
