Wine & Paint: Christmas Wreath

Come to Baker Hunt and have a wonderful evening ‘painting the town red‘ as you enjoy creating art and partake in your libation of choice!

This workshop is perfect for an adult family get together, date night activity, or an event help you relax and craft something unique while spending some quality time with good friends.

Subject: Christmas Wreath

What You’ll Experience:

You will paint the predetermined acrylic image on canvas in an instructor lead step-by-step group environment.

Due to the presence of alcohol, this is an adult (21 and up) only workshop. You will have a choice of either wine and/or beer from our Baker Hunt beer and wine list. There is a two drink limit per person, and outside alcohol is not permitted. Non-alcohol option are available and a snack tray is provided.

What You’ll Leave With:

Each attendee will leave with a beautiful, custom, acrylic on canvas copy of the selected images by the end of the workshop.

Natural Solstice Garland Making

Create something unique and magical this holiday season!

In this workshop, students will gather around to make natural garland made of holistic items such as dried oranges, popcorn, cranberries, (etc.) while and listening to Holiday tunes and siping on some adult holiday libations!

Due to the presence of alcohol, this is an adult (21 and up) only workshop. You will have a choice of either wine and/or beer from our Baker Hunt beer and wine list. There is a two drink limit per person, and outside alcohol is not permitted. Non-alcohol option are available and a snack tray is provided.

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end the class meetings, you will leave with a sweet smelling all natural Christmas garland and another fond holiday memory with friends and love ones.

Holiday Gift Tags & Cards
Printmaking

Create something unique and magical this holiday season!

In this class you will create one/two color Lino cuts to create festive holiday inspired images that could be used for as gift tags or unique holiday cards!

Students can create their own image or follow along with the instructor to create a Christmas tree design.

What You’ll Learn:

In a group learning environment, you will design and carve traditional linoleum blocks to create unique low relief stamps. You will learn to apply ink to your linoleum block to create color prints. You will have the opportunity for one-on-one guidance, and inspiration from the instructor.

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end the class meetings, you will have a more understanding of the properties of printmaking linoleum cuts and the watercolor making process, and leave with the skill set to repeat your prints at home, along with a couple of successful prints you can use for unique cards and gift tags!

Beginner Acrylics

October 15 – November 12 | Ages 16-99+

Class:

Discover the basics of acrylic painting including how to get started, use of materials, color theory, and rendering. Throughout this 8-week course, you will be working on painting a still life, a landscape, and an animal.  You will build confidence in your painting skills, have fun expressing yourself with acrylics, and gain inspiration to continue using.

What You’ll Learn:

In this 5-week, group learning environment, you will learn more involved tips and techniques of using the medium of acrylics. We will focus on color mixing, composition, blending, and rendering. You will have the opportunity for one-on-one guidance, and inspiration from the instructor.

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end of each class meeting you will have a more understanding of how use acrylics in your own artworks. After each class meeting, you will have learned a new acrylic application.

Take your acrylic painting skills to the next level while reinforcing the basics.  You’ll explore involve tips and technique to help bring your acrylic painting come to life! In this 5-week course you’ll receive insightful one-on-one attention with the instructor to help you along in achieving your goals.
