In this Adult workshop, you discover the basic steps and the tools used in the Stained Glass making process. In a step-by-step instruction, small group learning environment, each person in the class will create your very own individualized stained glass DIAMOND SUN PATTERN

What You’ll Learn:

You will learn how to properly use the basic tools of a stained glass artist, and you will learn the FOUR basic steps of the stained glass making process: Glass Cutting, Glass Grinding, Foiling, and Soldering. 

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end of the two hour workshop, you will have learned and experienced first-hand all the steps of how to make a piece of stained glass art, and you will leave with a completed Stained Glass Diamond Sun pattern.

Explore the wonderous world of stained glass making! Come and discover the basic steps and the tools used in the Stained Glass making process. In a step-by-step instruction, small group learning environment, you will create on a single stained glass panel from a selected group of popular beginner level patterns by the instructor. This class is set up as a beginner class or a refresher class.  No glass working experience is needed.

What You’ll Learn:

You will learn how to properly use the basic tools of a stained glass artist, and you will learn the FOUR basic steps of the stained glass making process: Glass Cutting, Glass Grinding, Foiling, and Soldering. You will demonstrate these four steps on a simple class practice piece design first, and then demonstrate them on your final project design.

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end of the course, you will have learned and experienced first-hand all the steps of how to make a piece of stained glass art, and you will leave with a completed piece of stained glass artwork. (A small-medium practice piece design)

Join us at Baker Hunt for a evening of unique family fun! Bring your son, daughter, sister, brother, niece, nephew, or grandchild to this first ever intergenerational stained glass class!

In this Youth and Adult workshop, you discover the basic steps and the tools used in the Stained Glass making process. In a step-by-step instruction, small group learning environment, each person in the class will create your very own individualized stained glass BUTTERFLY GARDEN STAKE

[***Each purchased seat includes ONE ADULT ticket and ONE YOUTH ticket.***]

Glass Camp
5-Days | June 8th – June 12th
9:00am-3:00pm | Ages 10 to 14

CAMP Theme:

Explore the many uses of glass in artwork, from stained glass, to mosaics, to fused glass, and more!

What You’ll Discover:

Have you ever wondered how stained glass windows are made? Or what goes into the art of mosaics? In this week-long camp, youth will work with glass to design and create pieces in stained glass, mosaics, fused glass, and look at reginal places that glass is created and crafted! Learn the safety, science, techniques, and artistry of working with glass!

What You’ll Create:

In this camp, you will create fun projects such as a small hanging window stained glass piece, a whimsical garden mosaic artwork, fused glass objects, and so much more!

Before & After-care Available:

Before & After-care provides additional time before and after camp for early drop-offs and late pick-ups. Before-Care starts at 8am, and After-Care ends at 4pm. To enroll, add the Before & After-care “ticket” to your registration.
