Come to Baker Hunt and have a wonderful evening ‘painting the town red‘ as you enjoy creating art and partake in your libation of choice!

This workshop is perfect for an adult family get together, date night activity, or an event help you relax and craft something unique while spending some quality time with good friends, and learn how to use watercolor resist to create a holiday scene, or a family crest/name

What You’ll Experience:

You will learn how to use resist methods and to paint with watercolors in an instructor lead step-by-step group environment.

Due to the presence of alcohol, this is an adult (21 and up) only workshop. You will have a choice of either wine and/or beer from our Baker Hunt beer and wine list. There is a two drink limit per person, and outside alcohol is not permitted. Non-alcohol option are available and a snack tray is provided.

What You’ll Leave With:

Each attendee will leave with a beautiful, custom, watercolor on paper of an image of a holiday scene/family crest painting customized by the attendee’s imagination by the end of the workshop.

Nutcracker Painting Workshop

Give the traditional Christmas nutcracker a glamorous makeover!
In this festive hour holiday workshop, you’ll transform a plain wooden nutcracker into a holiday masterpiece. We’ll begin with painting techniques designed to help you create your
nutcracker’s personality, color palette and signature look.

What You’ll Experience:

You will have fun transforming a plain wooden nutcracker into a unique holiday work of art by choosing a color palette and decorative design before painting, using acrylic paint to create clean details, patterns and decorative finishes, adding dimension and personality through layering and color.

What You’ll Leave With:

Each attendee will leave with a beautiful, unique, and custom decorated 24″ Nutcracker!

Autumn Leaf Animals

General Class Description

Students will receive (or may draw) the outline of an animal or Halloween related item. Then, using a variety of dried leaves, they will fill in the feathers, fur, scales, or texture. They may also add additional drawn or painted details to create a unique, creative animal(s).

What Will Students Learn?

How to use alternative materials to create texture and patterns. Think creatively. Reinforce planning a strategy beforehand, coupled with investigative happenstance.

What Will Students Leave With?

A natural art piece celebrating fall and the spooky season.

Class:

Explore the wonderous world of Mosaic making! Come and discover the basic steps and the tools used in the Mosaic making process. In a step-by-step instruction, small group learning environment, you will create on a single 12″x12″ mosaic panel design selected by the instructor. This class is set up as a beginner class or a refresher class.  No mosaic working experience is needed.

What You’ll Learn:

You will learn how to properly use the basic tools of a mosaic artis, and the class is focused on the basics of mosaic making, materials, techniques,  including design, cutting glass, gluing and grouting.

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end of the course, you will have learned and experienced first-hand all the steps of how to make a piece of mosaic art, and you will leave with a completed 12″x12″ mosaic design.
