Juneteenth Figure Drawing

Class:

Continue celebrating Black Heritage by participating in this figure drawing workshop! Featuring a costumed model in traditional Southeast African or West African clothing, this class will inspire with history, heritage, color, and sound!

What You’ll Learn:

Open studio drawing workshop! If you are interested in focusing on cultural clothing pattern & drawing black hair styles, a short presentation could be given as well.

What You’ll Leave With:

Students will leave with drawings of a costumed model and a new outlook on African/Black Heritage

Live Figure Drawing
Wednesday, 6:00 pm
July 8 – July 29 | Ages 21-99+

Class:

This is an informative 4-week charcoal drawing class that studies the nude figure. Students MUST BE 21 years of age or older to participate in the class.

THE USE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND TAKING PHOTOS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED INSIDE THE CLASSROOM!

(Failure to comply with this classroom policy will result in an immediate ejection from the class.)

What You’ll Learn:

Students will learn to work from gestural renderings to drawing form to completion under guided instruction. You will have the opportunity for one-on-one guidance, and inspiration from the instructor.

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end the 4 class meetings, you will have a better understanding of how to render the figure, and will leave with 1-3 well rendered figure drawings. (Depending of the discipline of the attendee.)
