Youth Crochet for Beginners

General Class Description

If you’ve always wanted to learn to crochet but don’t know where to start, then this is the class for you! Learn the basics of the craft with provided tools, materials, and hands-on instruction.

What Will Students Learn?

-Basics of Crochet
-Learn Essential Crochet stitches
-Learn to make a hat
-If time allows students can making a matching scarf

What Will Students Leave With?

Students will leave the workshop with a crochet hat just in time for winter. If a student completes the project before the course ends, then they will also make a scarf.

Youth Crochet a Pumpkin or Clown Doll

September 26 – October 17 | Ages 10-14

General Class Description

Learn to crochet a cute (or creepy) Pumpkin doll or Clown doll: a perfect companion for the fall season! Students will be provided with tools, materials, and hands-on instructions. This class is for crochetters with a skill level of intermediate and up.

What Will Students Learn?

How to make a pumpkin doll or clown doll with step-by-step instructions. Further knowledge and increased skills of the art of crocheting.

What Will Students Leave With?

Students will leave the workshop with a unique, one-of-a-kind crochet doll and the knowledge to continue making similar dolls in the future.
