In this festive 2½ hour holiday workshop, you’ll transform a plain wooden nutcracker into a holiday masterpiece. We’ll begin with painting techniques designed to help you create your
nutcracker’s personality, color palette and signature look. Then comes the fun part, the BLING!
Choose from an assortment of rhinestones, gems, glitter and other embellishments to add sparkle, texture and plenty of holiday personality to your creation.
Whether your nutcracker is elegant and sophisticated, colorful and whimsical, you’ll have the freedom to make it uniquely yours.
This is a creative holiday experience designed for all skill levels. No previous painting experience is necessary. Just bring your imagination and your love of Christmas sparkle!

What You’ll Experience:

You will have fun transforming a plain wooden nutcracker into a unique holiday work of art by choosing a color palette and decorative design before painting, using acrylic paint to create clean details, patterns and decorative finishes, adding dimension and personality through layering and color, work with rhinestones, gems, glitter, faux fur, and other embellishments. You will also use simple techniques for applying embellishments securely, combining painting and mixed-media techniques to create a polished finished piece, and make creative design choices that reflect their own personality and holiday style.
