Class Description:

In this class, we will explore the artistic world and life of Charlie Harper, well-known for his geometric renditions of animals. During the workshop, we will reduce animals to bold geometric shapes (known as minimal realism), placing them into winter scenes to make great decor for the holidays!

What Will Students Learn?

You will be introduced to Charlie Harper, his artwork, and his life story, as well as learning about some of his pieces that are winter-themed. You will learn to redefine animals using bold geometric shapes in the style of Charlie Harper by simplifying them into geometric shapes, giving them a bold outline and color.

What Will Students Leave With?

Students will leave with full-color Charlie Harper-inspired animals of their choosing, placed within a wintery wonderland!
