Just in time for spooky season, make your own hand-built ceramic ghost luminary! Walk through all the steps to complete your own custom ceramic ghost, then pick out a glaze, and pick up your finished, fired spooky friend in time for Halloween!

What You’ll Learn:

During this class, students will learn the fundamental steps to create their own ceramic ghost.

These include :

• Students will learn the pinch pot method, how to shape and fold the clay to resemble ghosts billowing in the wind, and learn how to use various shape hole punchers to create luminaries to let light through their ghosts

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end of this class, students will have learned some introductory skills to hand building and will have 1-2 of their own ghost luminaries!

(Student work will go through two firings after the workshop has been completed. Baker Hunt will provide glaze options for the students and will glaze their work for them. Students will be contacted, via email, once their pottery has finished firing and is available for pick up on a later date.)
