Appalachian Face Mugs!
Friday, February 20th, 5:30-7:30pm
Ages 10-99+

Class:

Come join us at Baker Hunt and lets all sit around making faces! … On hand made ceramic mugs of coarse! 🙂

Discover the fun, whimsical, and hilarious side of working in clay in this one-day evening workshop, where you will create your very own, unique, and custom handmade face mug. This intergenerational workshop is perfect for a fun family night, and evening out with friends, or a fun idea for a date night.

This workshop is guaranteed to bring you to laughter as we let the silly out as we have an evening playing with clay!

***Children ages 10 to 15, must be accompanied by a paying adult. ***

What You’ll Learn:

Students will learn the basics skills of simple slab construction, additive and subtractive sculpting methods, surface manipulation, and other handbuilding skills.

What You’ll Leave With:

After the end of the class, students will have created a unique and hilarious face mug with a glaze of their choosing, in which they will need to be then fired in our kilns, and picked up on a later date. Students will be notified via email once their mugs are ready for pick-up.
