What’s For Dinner? Use It, Don’t Toss It!
Cooking Class for Ages 16+
Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 | 5:30-7:30pm

Become creative in your kitchen and combine what you have on hand with basic pantry items to avoid food waste and extend your grocery dollars. Do you have scraps or small amounts of things that go bad in your fridge because you don’t know what to do with them? Partial bags of grains or other pantry items just sitting around? If we don’t use the food we buy, we are literally throwing our money away. When you register for this class, Chef Lilly will send you a survey asking for the items you never seem to use up and she will design the class around your responses. Learn lots of cheffy tips to extend your food budget, waste less, and have fun creating meals. This class will focus on technique rather than recipes. Likely dishes will include saute/pilaf, creative tacos/quesadillas, and how to utilize vegetables and meat cuts completely. Pantry surveys will be sent early March. Class is for students ages 16+, and students will work in pairs. Please register by March 8th at noon.
