Beginner Oil Painting

Be introduced to the wonderful world of oil painting! We will discuss the value of underpainting, and the difference that a color vs a monochrome underpainting can make. We will look at how to choose reference photos, and use them as a tool to achieve your desired look, as well as discuss seeing and painting light and shadow.

Oil Painting Portraits
Monday, 6:00 pm

Join us in all the excitement of a brand new portrait painting class!

In this fun 8-week oil painting class, students will learn new painting techniques such as monotone underpainting, mixing the correct colors on a palette, and blending and glazing techniques to help achieve a crisp photo-like finished product.

All skill levels are welcome!
