Friday, 12:00 pm
October 24 – November 14 | Ages 16-99+

You’ve heard about this before, but how do you get there? How does one ‘find one’s voice?’

The class will focus on identifying students’ individual proclivities in art making, then emphasizing those in the work at hand. Mark making, drawing, composition, color, material handling, and intent will be addressed. Every artist has a ‘signature’ in their work; this class will help you discover yours.  Individual attention with each student in a shared studio is the focus.

This class also serves as a time to use our studio get some additional work done on your artwork from another class, use campus for some plein air working, or get some feed back from fellow artists, students, and Craig the instructor.

All ages and skill levels welcomed! (There will be a group critique to conclude the class.)

“…Throw your heart into the picture, and then jump in after it…” ~Howard Pyle
