Kid-Friendly Knife Skills
Ages 9-12 w/Adult
Saturday, June 20th, 2026 | 11:00 am-1:00 pm

Chef Mary knows how to give kids confidence in the kitchen with real tools, real food, and expert guidance. In this engaging hands‑on class, young cooks and their adults learn how to use knives safely and correctly, turning curiosity into skill and fear into control. Working with common fruits & vegetables, you’ll both learn proper technique and basic cuts while making a bright, colorful fruit salad, and a build‑your‑own noodle bowl . To finish, we’ll learn to cut chicken wings into drums & flats, then enjoy sticky‑sweet baked teriyaki chicken wings, because learning should taste amazing too.

This class builds skills kids and adults can use for a lifetime—and confidence they’ll bring to every meal they make.
