Class:

This holiday season, bring your friends and family to Baker Hunt for an evening of fun as you discover the basic steps and the tools used in the Stained Glass making process. In a step-by-step instruction, small group learning environment, you will create your very own individualized stained glass AWARENESS RIBBON ORNAMENT! If you are a fighter, survivor, or supporter, this workshop is for you!

Make any color ribbon you want! Pink for Breast Cancer, Purple for Alzheimer’s Disease, Red for Mental Health, or what ever color or awareness you are passionate about, you can make a beautiful ornament to show your support!

What You’ll Learn:

You will learn how to properly use the basic tools of a stained glass artist, and you will learn the FOUR basic steps of the stained glass making process: Glass Cutting, Glass Grinding, Foiling, and Soldering. 

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end of the three hour workshop, you will have learned and experienced first-hand all the steps of how to make a piece of stained glass art, and you will leave with a completed Awareness Ribbon Ornament.

Fused Glass Ornaments

Class:

This holiday season, bring your friends and family to Baker Hunt for an evening of fun as we debut a BRAND-NEW form of art making now being offered at Baker Hunt, FUSED GLASS! In this first of its kind medium, step-by-step instructional class, you will create your very own individualized FUSED GLASS ORNAMENTS just in time for the holiday season!

What You’ll Learn:

You will learn how to safely and properly use the basic set of tools of a glass artist, while learning how to cut and grind glass into the shapes needed for your design. The instructor will also discuss the unique properties of different types of glass, and what happens during the fusing process.

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end of the two hour workshop, you will have learned and experienced first-hand all the steps of how to make a piece of fused glass art. Depending on the complexity of the student’s individual designs, you will create 1-2 fused glass ornaments in the allotted class time. After the class, the students will be notified via email as soon as the ornaments have finished firing and are available to be picked up.
