Ceramic Tea Lights
Saturday, 11:00 a.m.
November 22nd | Ages 16-99+
Light up the winter season by making your home cozier! In this class you will join ceramicist Margaret, as she teaches introductory throwing techniques. Students will create ceramic tea lights that will be sure to brighten their nights and liven the winter spirit.
What You’ll Learn:
During this 2.5-hour class you will learn fundamental wheel throwing skills (centering, pulling, and compressing) and how to use basic pottery tools.
What You’ll Leave With:
By the end of the two-hour workshop, you will have learned and experienced first-hand all the steps of how to throw a cylinder, shape it, and turn it into your very own tea light!
(Student work will go through two firings after the workshop has been completed. Baker Hunt will provide glaze options for the students and will glaze their work for them. Students will be contacted, via email, once their pottery has finished firing and is available for pick up on a later date.)
