Throw yourself into the holiday season with a new hobby! In this workshop, ceramicist Sage will cover all the essentials for creating your own hot cocoa mug, ensuring you stay cozy and your taste buds are satisfied this holiday season.
What You’ll Learn:
During this two-hour class, you will learn fundamental wheel-throwing skills, including centering, pulling, and shaping. Students will also learn how to pull handles, attach them, and use basic pottery tools.
What You’ll Leave With:
By the end of the two-hour workshop, you will have learned and experienced first-hand all the steps of how to throw a cylinder, shape it, pull handles, and create your very own cocoa mug!
(Student work will go through two firings after the workshop has been completed. Baker Hunt will provide glaze options for the students and will glaze their work for them. Students will be contacted, via email, once their pottery has finished firing and is available for pick up on a later date.)
