Catrina Mills

Chef Catrina Mills was born and raised in Chicago with roots in New Orleans: two great food cities before settling in Cincinnati. She began cooking at the age of seven years old in her mother’s restaurant. By the age of nine years old she was able to run and manage the kitchen!

Since those days, Chef Mills has just about done it all. She is a mother, published author, US Air Force Gulf War veteran, culinologist, and personal chef. She has been a restaurant owner and executive chef. She developed a line of seasonings & spices under the labels “Taste the World in Cincy,” and “Spyce Queen,” both of which you can find at Jungle Jim’s Markets!

Catrina specializes in international cuisines and joins the Baker Hunt team having taught many public, private, and corporate classes at The Midwest Culinary Institute, The Cooking School at Jungle Jim’s International Market, Findlay Culinary Training Program, and more! When not teaching, she can be found traveling to other cities, hosting pop-up events, and providing nutritional analysis and meal planning/prep for clients of all walks of life.
