While attending classes or events students/attendees will be under the supervision of Baker Hunt Faculty. It is understood that the usage of tools including but not limited to, hot glue guns, scissors, cooking utensils, sewing needles, pins, sewing machines, irons, and hand tools, are utilized by students in classrooms at Baker Hunt.
At times student/attendees images, voices, videos, work and/or first name may be requested to promote or represent The Baker Hunt Foundation, Inc, AKA, Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center programs or events, to share the Baker Hunt Experience with our community. This permits Baker Hunt to use you or your family member’s image, video, audio, work and/or first name to promote or represent programs or events in any print, audio, video, website, or social media and assigns to Baker Hunt all rights to such items and further releases The Baker Hunt Foundation, Inc. from liability for use of same. If you do not want images used in this capacity, you must contact us at info@bakerhunt.org .
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and any other virus exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and in some cases death. If you are not fully vaccinated or under the age of 18, you agree to wear a mask. By visiting/taking classes at Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and any other virus.
Students/attendees fully understand and acknowledge that cooking classes and events have inherent risks, dangers, and hazards and that participation in such classes and events may result in injury, illness, or death. Students hereby acknowledge the risks and accept same and release the Baker Hunt Foundation, Inc., its teachers, directors, agents and employees from any and all liability for damage, losses, or personal injury resulting from participation in any cooking class, workshop or event.
ALLERGY AWARENESS NOTIFICATION: If you have food allergies, sensitivities, or aversions, please be aware Baker Hunt Foundation, Inc. does not guarantee an allergen-free environment. Recipes may contain peanuts, nuts, nut oils, eggs, shellfish, fish, dairy, gluten, soy, produce, and other food allergens. Students/attendees acknowledge that it is their responsibility to communicate any food allergies, sensitivities and/or aversions to an agent of Baker Hunt and that the appropriate communication forms are completed in a timely manner before exposure to said allergen/food. You must inform Baker Hunt of any food allergies you may have by emailing info@bakerhunt.org.
All cancellation, refund, and substitution requests must be made in writing and sent to info@bakerhunt.org
For Full and Condensed Classes/Workshops/Events: Baker Hunt issues full refunds up to 14 days prior to the class start. Cancellations made from 8-13 days prior to the class start receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. No refunds are issued after 8 days prior to the class start date.
For Summer Youth Camps: Baker Hunt issues full refunds up to four (4) weeks prior to the start of the summer youth camp. Cancellations from 14-27 days prior to the start of camp, Baker Hunt will refund 50% of the registration fee. Any cancellations less than two weeks prior to the camp will not qualify for a refund.
Baker Hunt staff will work with students experiencing extenuating circumstances to find the best solution. Baker Hunt reserves the right to cancel classes based on enrollment. All students affected by this change will be notified and will receive a full refund. No make-up classes will be made available in the case of illness or inclement weather.
Students unable to attend a class may make a substitution in writing with one (1) week notification of the first day of the class. We ask that you provide the new attendee’s name, phone number, and email.
