Wednesday, 6:30 pm
January 7 – February 25 | Ages 16+

Class:

Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw landscapes, but didn’t know where to start? This 8-week course is designed to help students develop their landscape drawing skills, from understanding basic composition and perspective to mastering shading, texture, and natural forms. Perfect for beginners and intermediate artists, this course offers both instruction and hands-on practice to build confidence and creativity in drawing natural environments.

What You’ll Learn:

In a group learning environment, you will be working on the class lead, step-by-step projects designed to allow students explore different elements of landscape drawing with various mediums, including graphite, charcoal, and colored pencil, with an emphasis on colored pencil during the final project.  Students will have the opportunity for one-on-one guidance, feedback on your artwork, feedback guidance including color mixing, blending techniques, and drawing, and inspiration form the instructor.

What You’ll Leave With:

By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in landscape art and will complete a final project that demonstrates their growth and understanding of the techniques learned throughout the class. By the end of each class meeting you will have a more understanding of how use colored pencils in your own artworks, and you will have learned a new color pencil application.
