Suffrage Movement and Fibers Sunday, 1:00pm Grades 6-8
The first half-hour of the program will be a historical presentation by Katherine Durack regarding the Suffrage Movement and the fibers it has woven within our world. The second two hours will be creating projects with fibers as they would have during the time of the Suffrage Movement, taught by Karen Etling. The young women will be taught the basics of crocheting and then will put that knowledge to creating a wash cloth and beginning a scarf project. The class will end with Q & A.
