Calling all Potters, Pottery Lovers & Volunteers!
Baker Hunt has been selected, among other local ceramic institutions, to host three exhibitions on our beautiful campus for the upcoming 2023 NCECA Conference that is taking place right here in our home city of Cincinnati!

Click Here to learn more about NCECA
NCECA stands for National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts. Each year the conference travels from city to city with the goal to inform, educate, and celebrate clay. This includes showcasing local, national, and international talent from select artists actively working in the field of ceramics.
What’s Coming To Campus!!!
Baker Hunt is proud to announce the official NCECA exhibitions: Vernacular Outgrowth, Present Touch, and Cooking & Clay Collaboration.

Vernacular Outgrowth: Exploring ideas of geology, growth, specific environments, and sustainability in diverse ways, these artists approach the material through organic and vernacular building processes. Organized by Donna Robinson. Image Above: Untitled, Sabri Ben-Achour

Present Touch: Looking at the past while making in the present, Present Touch is a selection of contemporary emerging artists who use the vessel for function, decoration, and/or image. Organized by Samantha Briegel. Image Above: Jar, Horacio Casillas

Cooking & Clay Collaboration: In 2022, a group of innovative chefs and ceramicists gathered to explore the relationship between earth, fire, and food in a Cooking and Clay collaborative residency at the Hambidge Center. Organized by Stephanie Rozene. Image Above: Untitled, Stephanie Rozene.
