Cooking Skills for the At-Home Chef
Mondays March 29-April 19, 6:15-8:30pm
Join the Baker Hunt Chefs for a four week course on becoming a proficient home-chef! Beginner Level Class, ages 14+.
Week 1 – Knife Skills, Vinaigrette Preparation, Fruit Salad with Poppyseed Dressing
Week 2 – Roux, Classic French “Mother” Sauces, Cauliflower Mornay, Asparagus with Sauce Bearnaise
Week 3 – Poultry Butchery, Roasting Meats, Glazed Vegetables, Roast Chicken with Vegetables and Pan Sauce
Week 4 – Fish Preparation, Poaching, Reduction Sauces, Tossed Salad with Vinaigrette, Sole Bon Femme.
All Baker Hunt students will be required to follow social distancing guidelines, must wear a mask, and will be temperature checked upon arrival to class. Please stay home if you are feeling sick.
