Call for Artists
Call Summary:
The Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center is requesting artwork submissions from local artists to showcase their work at the new DBL Law offices in Covington.
Purpose:
“At Baker Hunt our goals are simple, to make art available to all; young and old, on campus and off, for the enrichment of our students and the cultural development of our community.” This art show will connect Baker Hunt, local artists, and our community and share the Baker Hunt mission and goals. This will be accomplished via original art that represents our region with an emphasis on the Northern Kentucky community.
Description:
If accepted, the art piece will be shown at the new premiere headquarters of DBL, located in the historic Monarch Building on Fourth Street between Greenup Street and Scott Blvd in Covington. Show Dates 3/7/2023 – 8/19/2023
Eligibility:
The show is open to regional artists. No professional background is required. NO ENTRY FEE
Media:
Open to all traditional & non-traditional 2D artworks.
Timeline:
Deadline for Entries: February 6th, 2023, taking virtual submissions starting December 2nd.
Notifications of Acceptance via email: February 7th
Artwork drop off at Baker Hunt – February 14th – 17th
Accepting work at Baker Hunt – Monday – Thursday, 9:00 am – 4:00pm.
Installation at DBL and Baker Hunt: February 27th and 28th
Art Displayed from March 7th- August 19th
