Through a generous donation with the intension of sharing his appreciation and inspiration of the beauty of art and nature, the Maurice Kunz Scholarship program is designed to do just that. This 8-week Saturday Beginner Watercolor Class is an opportunity for people of the community to experience the joy of a fine art class without the the stress of the cost and materials needed to attend such a class.

In this class, you will learn the art of watercolor painting. Learn useful techniques such as layering, creating luminosity, and working with white space. No experience in watercolor painting is required.

The materials and the cost of this class is FREE with the acceptance into the Maurice Kunz Scholarship Program. Seats for this class are limited; Only sixteen[16] Scholarship Applicants will be accepted to take the class. (Restrictions to the scholarship application do apply. Maurice Kunz Scholarship Program:

• The scholarship is designed to allow people who experience financial hardship the ability to take a fine art class without the stress of affording the cost and materials of such a class.
• Applicants for the scholarship will abide and agree to the following terms and conditions:
  • Applicants must fully fill out the the application, or the application will not be accepted/reviewed.
  • If awarded the scholarship, the scholarship is non-transferable to any other class offered by Baker Hunt. The scholarship is only to be used for the 8-week, 1pm Saturday Beginner Watercolor Class.
  • The scholarship is non-transferable to any other person other than the recipient.
  • Applicants may not be a current or a former student of Ken Buck.
  • Any scholarship recipient may have their scholarship status revoked if one or more of the following occurs:
    • If the recipient provides false information on any part of the application process.
    • If the recipient fails to show up for any class without proper notification for their absence.
    • If the recipient causes disruption, or diminishes the positive communal learning environment for the instructor or other class attendees.
