Create and glaze functional, decorative, and sculptural forms using a pottery wheel. This class focuses on developing your understanding of how to operate a potters wheel, while you learn to create the three basic wheel-thrown forms: cylinders/cups, bowls, and vases.
No makeup classes will be made available in the case of illness or inclement weather

Supply List
Students will need to bring:
- Own set of clay or throwing tools
- Large cleaning sponge
- Small clay work sponge
- Approx. 2ft x 2ft piece of Canvas
- Small bucket for cleaning and tool storage
- (Optional) Small/detail paintbrushes for glazing
- (Optional) Plastic bags for wrapping work
Students will be provided:
- Shelf space as close to their creation station as possible
- (1x) bag of clay
