Born and raised in Northern KY. Clair currently lives in Covington KY. where she currently moved with her husband Mike. She and her husband just moved from the family farm in Alexandria KY where they raised their four children.
Clair has always been interested in art and took lessons since she was in the fourth grade. A graduate of Ohio Visual Arts Institute(now Antonelli College),she has also studied art at Thomas Moore College,Louisiana Baptist College, and NKU. She has worked under Jack Meanwell and now studies under Ken Buck at the Essex.
Clair has taught Art at Holy Cross HS, Saint Mary’s in Alexandria and Saints Peter and Paul in California KY. She currently teaches art to homeschoolers and does outreach in the Northern KY area here at Baker Hunt.
Clair is a member on the Art Circle at the Essex, she shows regularly their at the Art Walks and has shown her work at Twilight, the Covington Ladies Home, Cincinnati City Hall.and several other Cincinnati and Northern KY venues.
Clair teaches Youth Watercolor, Teen Studio, and History of Art at Baker Hunt.
