DESCRIPTION:General Class Description\nStudents design custom keychains using shrink plastic sheets (“Shrink Dinks”). You will draw original artwork, color it, cut it out, then heat it so the plastic shrinks into a thick, durable charm. Once cooled, each piece is turned into a keychain using jump rings and key rings. This is a fast-paced, highly customizable craft that produces professional-looking results.\nWhat Will Students Learn?\nHow shrink plastic works through heat transformation.\nBasic illustration and design scaling (drawing larger before shrinking).\nColoring techniques using markers or colored pencils on plastic.\nSafe handling of heat tools (oven or heat gun with supervision).\nJewelry assembly using jump rings and keychains.\nWhat Will Students Leave With?\nStudents will leave with finished shrink plastic keychains using their own custom designs.
