DESCRIPTION:Class:\nJust in time for spooky season, make your own hand-built ceramic cat OR dog! Walk through all the steps to complete your own custom ceramic cat, then pick out a glaze (yes, there is black), and pick up your finished, fired four-legged friend in time for Halloween!\nWhat You’ll Learn:\nDuring this class, students will learn the fundamental steps to create their own ceramic cat or dog.\nThese include :\n\nSlab building\nSlipping and scoring\nBasic finishing techniques\nSimple surface decoration\n\nWhat You’ll Leave With:\nBy the end of this class, students will have learned some introductory skills to hand building and will have their very own ceramic cat or dog!\n(Student work will go through two firings after the workshop has been completed. Baker Hunt will provide glaze options for the students and will glaze their work for them.
