DESCRIPTION:Explore the magic of clay as we create beautiful pieces of pottery, in a positive and creative atmosphere. This class focuses on the foundations of clay handling, technique development, glazing, and decorating as they work on teacher-led projects and practices.\nStudents are required to follow the instructor’s curriculum. Only work produced from that curriculum will be fired.\nWhat You’ll Learn:\nStudent’s will learn fundamental skills in handbuiling such as building from pinch pots and coils, introductory surface decoration, and the basics of glazing.\nWhat You’ll Leave With:\nStudents taking this class will learn introductory skills in ceramics and will leave with 2-5 pieces.\n(Students will submit glazed works for final firing on the last class of the session.
