DESCRIPTION:Class:\nSewing Lab: Quilting is for confident-beginner to intermediate quilters who want to test their skills and tackle more difficult patterns while still receiving quilting instruction! This class is best suited to individuals who understand quilt piecing and are proficient in using a sewing machine. Students should be confident beginner quilt piecers wishing to try more intermediate patterns or intermediate piecers wishing to try more advanced patterns.\nWhat You’ll Learn:\nIn the 6-week course, the class will feature several patterns for students to choose from, and together with instructor Rachel they will set goals on what to have finished by the end of the session. Topics covered in this class include: weekly demonstrations on techniques, organizing pieces, labeling pieces, when to press seams open, handling bulk, pressing with a clapper and wool mat, advanced quilt piecing, and more!\n***Please note, this class may feature homework to complete in between class sessions.
