DESCRIPTION:***No Classes The Week Of June 29th – July 5th***\nClass:\nIn this beginner class, we will make the Star Pop quilt pattern in the *small throw size* (52″x60″). \nThe instructor will teach students several tips and tricks to make cutting and sewing efficient and accurate, taking the stress out of the quilting process and allowing creativity to flow. This is a traditionally pieced quilt top. Students will learn to prepare fabric, cut, and piece a finished quilt top.\n*Note: the finished object is the QUILT TOP, which is not a finished quilt. For a quilt to be finished, it has a middle batting layer and a back layer that are all sewn together. Students will leave with resources to get their quilt top quilted outside of class.*\n**If you have your own sewing machine, please bring it to class! If you do not, one will be provided for you to use!**\n**This is a beginner level class**\nWhat You’ll Learn:\nStudents will learn how to prepare fabric for quilting, including how to cut, mark, sort, and label quilt pieces. Students will learn traditional quilt piecing, and the instructor will share techniques to increase efficiency in order to take the stress out of quilting. Students will learn to effectively manage different pieces, their time, and how to effectively read a quilting pattern.\nWhat You’ll Leave With:\nStudents will leave with a small throw size (52″x60″) quilt top that is ready to be quilted together with batting and backing fabric.
