DESCRIPTION:Class:\nIn this hands-on workshop, students will design and create a glowing glass lantern using jars, colored film, gems and reflective materials. Beginning with a guided sketch, students will explore pattern design, composition and color choices that respond to light. They will then build layered surfaces using transparent and textured elements to create depth and visual interest. In the final stage, students will assemble their lanterns and experiment with illumination, observing how light transforms color, shadow and overall design.\nWhat You’ll Learn:\nStudents will acquire practical skills in arranging materials, planning designs, and working with light and color interaction.
