DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nEvery dent, weld, and weave is a mark of time. We are seeking three-dimensional works that explore the physical object as an archive of human experience. From rigid steel and weathered stone to delicate fiber and found objects, “Material Memory” focuses on how artists use mass, texture, and form to give a “body” to fleeting thoughts and experiences. Open to all artists working in three-dimensional media (including sculpture, metalwork, mosaic, fiber arts, mixed media, clay, etc.).
