DESCRIPTION:***No Classes The Week Of June 29th – July 5th***\nClass:\nBe introduced to the wonderful world of oil painting! We will discuss the value of underpainting, and the difference that a color vs a monochrome underpainting can make. We will study the elements of how to choose a good composition, and will discuss seeing and painting light and shadow.\nWhat You’ll Learn:\nIn a step-by-step group learning environment, students will learn new painting techniques such as monotone underpainting, mixing the correct colors on a palette, and blending and glazing techniques to help achieve a proficient finished product.
