DESCRIPTION:CAMP Theme:\nFocus on 2D media created with pencil, ink, charcoal.\nWhat You’ll Discover:\nIf your artist is serious about learning, sign up so they can explore these deceptively simple media to build a strong foundation for artistic success! In this week-long camp, youth will work through various individual and group projects to develop an understanding for using pencils, ink, and art-markers to their highest potential. Techniques in drawing the human figure, objects in still-life, perspective drawing and more while learning about the many different types of pencils available to artists. Explore ink as a medium to enhance your drawings, try your hand at calligraphy, and more! Finally, explore the versatility of artist-markers for adding color to drawings.\nWhat You’ll Create:\nIn this camp, you will create fun projects such as letter making and calligraphy, still life’s, landscapes and out door sketches, speed drawing, blind contour drawing, laying multiple mediums (pen, ink, makers), and so much more!\nBefore & After-care Available:\nBefore & After-care provides additional time before and after camp for early drop-offs and late pick-ups. Before-Care starts at 8am, and After-Care ends at 4pm.
